Doing What Matters
In our work, we all face challenges, changes, and constraints - they're inevitable. Yet, in the face of them, or even in the struggle to avoid them, we can lose sight of actually doing what really matters to us - for ourselves and/or our organisations.
My goal is to equip you - employees, teams, leaders and organistions - with perspective, knowledge and practical skills so that you are better able identify opportunities for doing what matters for you, even when times are tough.
My approach, based in contextual behavioural science, is evidence-based and practically-focused.
About Me
My Approach: I care deeply about understanding and improving the effectiveness and wellbeing of our organisations and the people working in them. I work with clients to equip you with perspectives, knowledge and skills to help you achieve your aims, with a greater sense of wellbeing, meaning and purpose over the long-term.
My Background: I have over 20 years of experience working across a wide range of organisations from multinational corporations through to entrepreneurial start-ups, and from financial services to charities. I’ve worked as an external consultant and coach, and as an internal manager of people, projects, operations and change.
Theory & Evidence: I trained in organisational psychology (MSc & PhD) to bring rigour to my work, and I use the practically-oriented lens of Contextual Behavioural Science to guide me. These perspectives also underpinned my doctoral thesis, which researched organisational and psychological flexibility, providing my practice with a leading-edge, evidence-based approach for improving our world of work.
I’m also a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Goldsmiths University of London, teaching Organisational Behaviour & Health, Training, Coaching & Counselling, and Assessment & Selection courses on the MSc Occupational Psychology programme.
